We tackled van lifers’ greatest pain points, adding pages for crowdsourced information, selecting a van, finding apps for specific use cases, and a checklist for getting started.

One of the biggest hits for users is our Digital Resources page, where we list the most reliable apps & websites for parking, finding gas, and seeking activities, to name a few. This takes some of the guesswork out of questions that arise on a daily basis.

Paring down an abundance of information comes with unique challenges for a website with broad intentions. Users of all kinds rely on this site to find important information—in different languages and for a vast variety of reasons.

We reconstructed the site through an extensive re-architecting of existing information, optimizing for effortless navigability.
Superficially but also importantly, we gave it an aesthetic boost for a more current look and feel.

The original site only had two (2!) options to choose from on the navigation bar, so we expanded it to offer more categories that our users are seeking.
I edited copy throughout the site to read in plain English, with sensible headers and brief descriptions for each section.
